If the guards are on horse back, lock onto them and steal the horse. The guards may take your horse, allowing you to steal it back again. Meet back up with Salai and make your way back to Leonardo's Workshop. Try to avoid any fights to get back to the shop faster. When you reach the shop, a cutscene will automatically play. Infiltrate Belriguardo Palazzo to find Lucrezia Borgia and discover the locations of the stolen Villa paintings.
This mission requires tons of stealth. If you are even detected, you will lose synchronization. You can read the following guide, or you can view a video on getting past this mission HERE.
Exit the hay and climb the building straight forward. Enter the building via the opening to the right. When inside the building, grab the rope hanging down on the left side.
It will swing you left onto some wooden planks. Jump forward, go right, and jump forward again until you reach another hay bail. Exit the hay bail and run to the other side of the building. Climb up the platform and jump across the wood sticks. Catch the swinging rope to swing right. Enter the next part of the building for a checkpoint. The next part should be easy enough. Jump across the barrel shelves to the next area.
A small bit of dialogue will play among the crowd. Make your way across the top until you jump down into a room. You can find some loot in the dark dead end tunnel. Climb up the wall to the left and jump backwards to a wooden platform to make it to the next area.
You can assassinate some guards up ahead, but if you want full synchronization, don't do it! Jump down behind the guards and climb up a little box like thing. You can back jump to some wooden poles to make it to the next area. It's pretty straight forward. Jump to the ruined brick above the gate.
Do a back jump to reach the other side. Climb to the right to exit out, then back jump to the garden area. Jump across the fountains in the garden area and walk towards the door to start up another cutscene. At the end of the cutscene, you'll need to escape before the time limit runs out. Remember not to kill anyone if you want full synchronization. Run outside and take any short cuts you can.
The end will have you performing a leap of faith to the first painting. Tail Lucrezia's old flame, Patrizio, to find the Leonardo painting she gave him in memory of their love.
This should be fairly easy. Follow Patrizio without walking on the rooftops. If others look towards you, or if Partizio looks your direction, hide among groups of people. Don't forget about the gentle push button when walking. Don't get too close, but don't get too far. If you lose sight of your target for 30 seconds, you will have to start over.
When Patrizio walks past some guards, find another route around. The first set of guards will have an alley way to the left.
You can kill any guards as long as it's out of sight from other guards and Patrizio. There were two guards for me in this alleyway. The second set of guards will be next to an alleyway to the right, up some stairs.
Patrizio should be headed that direction anyways. The third set will be much tougher. Walk to the left of the guards, down some stairs. Go down the street until you can make a right to the path where Patrizio was walking.
He will turn back towards you, so make sure you have an escape route and any crowds to hide in. Follow him until you reach a cutscene. After the scene you will chase down the man with the painting. You have infinite time, but you must be close to him or the memory will end. You can run on rooftops now, but there are guards on the rooftops. Chase him or cut him off, then kill him.
You can also get close enough for a lock on to shoot him. Once you have the painting, leave the Vatican district to end the memory. Run down to the docks for the beginning of this mission, but do not be detected by any of the guards on the way. Either jump from roof to roof stealth-like, or walk within the crowds. Getting caught by the guards on the rooftops does not count against the full sync challenge. At the docks you will find Duccio.
Fight him and his gang after a cutscene, but do not kill them. Duccio will run away a few times during the fight to get more friends to help him out.
Defeat him and his friends 4 times to find out the location of the other three paintings. One of the paintings is on a boat not far from your current location. The boat is surrounded by robbed disciples, the ones you're not supposed to be detected by! There are three off the boat and a lot more on the boat. Use an arrow storm on the men on the boat, but make sure you're not near the boat or they may come after you.
The other men will run off looking for your Assassins. Run on boat and take the painting to end the memory. Retrieve the invitation to the art exhibition inside the nobleman's courtyard without getting caught. Full Sync: Do not let guards discover any dead bodies inside the restricted area. Meet up with the courtesans near the dock. They will show you where the invitation is. The invitation is inside a red box in a restricted area. Grab it without being detected.
You can assassinate anyone, but make sure their bodies aren't seen either. Remember, you have the ability to pick up bodies and hide them. The easiest way is to walk around and enter from the North. So we'll need to find ways to get the guards attention else where. Equip your hidden blades with posions , then use a poison kill on a guard that's very close to another Da Vinci painting.
The walk away. As the crowds and guards goes to inspect the poisoned guard, go and interact with the painting. The second painting is inside the Castello. Approach the front doors and blend in with the crowd.
You'll need to stay blended to work your way through the corridor. Climb your way to the top, killing any enemies you want to along the way. Make your way to the Castello libarary, then assassinate the lone guard to clear the area. Now use Eagle Vision to identify te painting and interact with it.
Now you'll have to escape the Castello without being detected. When heading back down, two guards will walk towards the library.
Quickly go back into the library and stand in a corner near the entrance. The guards will walk into the library, then go and inspect the dead body. Use this chance to head back downstairs. Take the same route to get back outside, as you did to get to the library. Make a right tun at the front exit, then climb some scaffolding to the top. From here you can jump out of the Castello area to complete the memory. Note: this mission gives you a good chance to get "Going Up" too. Check here.
Memory 7 - Decoding Da Vinci. Full Sync Requirement: D iscover the location of the catacombs in under 5 minutes. You'll need to identify various marks across the five Da Vinci paintings. Each painting will have 2 or 3 clues each. Below are screenshots detailing all the marks in the five pictures. After identifying the clues, you'll have to piece together a map using the pieces. Below is a screenshot of the completed map. Memory 8 - The Temple of Pythagoras. Full Sync Requirement: D o not lose any health squares.
This is the final memory of the Da Vinci Disappearance, and the full sync requirement is only a bit of an annoyance when it comes to fighting enemies. But as long as you remember all the skills you have for combat mainly how to identify when you're about to be attacked, how to counter attack, and how to use smoke bombs to kill a lot of enemies fairly quickly , you shouldn't have much trouble meeting the requirement.
Firstly, for this memory, you'll have to work your way through the catacombs to find Da Vinci. It's not a hard area to traverse, and when you get to the final area with Da Vinci, you'll trigger a cut scene. You'll then have to fight off a lot of enemies, making sure you don't take any damage. Once you've killed all the enemies, climb up the wall to assassinate Massimo. That's the first half of the memory over.
For the second part, you'll have to follow Leonardo, as he guides you towards three puzzles. All of them are fairly simple to solve, but you'll need to make sure that every jump and climb you make is a sensible one. The Da Vinci Disappearance memories could only be started after completing " Double Agent ", though to complete the whole sequence, " High-Stakes Negotiations " also needed to be completed, although it takes place after Sequence 8 and before Sequence 9.
In , after the fall of the Borgia in Rome , Leonardo da Vinci was kidnapped by the Hermeticists , an underground cult dedicated to "transforming mankind". In order to find the inventor and friend, Ezio Auditore da Firenze embarked on a relentless quest to recover Leonardo's stolen paintings, who had apparently discovered the entrance to a hidden temple that the Hermeticists desired.
